โ Back to TracerPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what data Tracer (the website, the web app and the Chrome extension) collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect as little as we can.

What we collect
- The waitlist: the email address you enter on our website, which form you used, when, the name of the link that brought you if it carries one (for example "x" for a link shared on X), and your answer if you choose to tell us how many days a week you trade. We use it only to tell you when your beta access is ready and to send occasional updates about Tracer. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Your account: email address, username and, if you sign in with Google, the identifier Google provides.
- Your journal: the simulated trades logged by the extension (virtual amounts, fees and token tax, market cap, token name and logo, dates), plus the notes, ratings, emotions and setup tags you add.
- The AI coach: your messages, its replies, the summary it keeps as long-term memory, and a monthly usage counter.
- Your discipline settings: the personal rules you set (max size, stop loss, pause after a loss, daily loss limit, trades per session) and your weekly reviews (when you marked a week as reviewed and the rule you chose to keep).
- Usage milestones: a few dates and counts about your own use of Tracer (account creation, first simulated trade, first rule, first weekly review, last visit, sessions in the last 7 days, number of trades). They are stored with your account; only you and the Tracer team can read them.
No wallet, private key or real money is ever requested or processed: trades logged by Tracer are simulated.
Why we use it
- To provide the Service: sign you in, show your journal and debrief, and run the coach.
- To enforce plan limits and protect the Service against abuse.
- To measure, across all users, whether the beta helps people keep the habit (the usage milestones above). This is done in our own database: no analytics tool or third party is involved.
Your data is never sold and never used for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud: authentication, database, hosting and server functions.
- Google Gemini: when you write to the coach, your message, an excerpt of your journal and the coach's memory are sent to generate the reply.
- Resend: our email provider, which receives your email address only to deliver the emails we send you.
- The Firebase CDN, which serves the site, its fonts and its scripts (it receives your IP address). Fonts and scripts are hosted by us: no third-party font or script service is called.
- Public market data services (Jupiter, DexScreener, CoinGecko), queried by your browser with token addresses only, to show token names, logos and the SOL price.
These providers may process data in several countries, including the United States and the European Union, under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. You can delete everything at any time from Account โ Delete account: trades, notes, coach conversation, memory, rules, weekly reviews, usage milestones and the account itself are erased.
Waitlist emails are kept until the beta ends or until you ask us to remove yours. Unsubscribing stops all emails immediately; to have your address deleted, write to contact@trytracer.xyz.
The Chrome extension
The extension only reads pages of the supported platforms (Axiom, GMGN and Padre), to display its widget and read the market cap, token tax, token name and logo. It only sends Tracer your simulated trades, linked to your account, and the journal details you add in its widget (note, emotion, rating, flag on your last trades), which it reads back from your account to show them. It never reads or changes your real orders, your wallet or your credentials on those platforms.
On your device, in the browser's extension storage, it keeps its virtual balance, your open simulated positions, the widget's settings and position, the simulated trades waiting to be synced, and the sign-in token that links it to your Tracer account. Removing the extension deletes all of it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to contact@trytracer.xyz. Depending on your country, data protection laws (such as the GDPR in the EU and UK, or state privacy laws in the US) may give you additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics tool. Your browser keeps your sign-in session and a few display preferences (page, unit, period) in local storage.
We count page visits and clicks on links to the Chrome Web Store, per day: which page was viewed, which website or campaign link led to it, and whether the device is a phone or a computer. These are anonymous totals. No cookie is set, nothing is stored in your browser for this, and nothing that identifies you, such as your IP address, is stored.
Children
Tracer is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will let you know.
